English Language Challenge
When I was a child I don´t really like the english, because it was very difficult to me and also I didn´t not grant the importance that he deserved. But it was a little girl and I didn´t know that the english in the future it would be so important, specifically to my career.
I think If I had had more hours of English practice in my school, it would not have been so difficult as I progressed in level. And that is my big review to the Chile's educational policies. Being a language so required for jobs in our country, academic training is not given as much importance.
In the other hand my experience of english classes in the university it has not been really good and helpful, because in my case some of my teachers are not good professionals, maybe speak and understand the language, but as a teacher they don´t know how to explain the subjects.
But in the case of the blogs are really liked, because I think is a good way to learn how to write in english. Maybe sometimes the topics they are boring for me and they are not my favorites, however I make them because It helps me to improve my English.
Outside of class I don´t occupy much English in my daily life, mostly I use it when I listen to songs or watch movies in that language. But deep down I would like to continue learning.

I totally agree on how we don't really get a great english education during our academic years, and sometimes you have to take extra courses that cost a lot of money because the language is really helpful for most of careers in my opinion. It should change.
ResponderEliminarYou are right in the fact that the absence of oral practice is a great fault of the english programs that are taught in the school system. Even in the colleges the english level is low for this very reason.
ResponderEliminarI also think that blogs have been a good experience because writing is related to English and obviously it is entertaining due to the fact that we are studying journalism, that is if I believe that blog topics should be free.
ResponderEliminarreally the English of most of the schools in Chile is very precarious. All efforts to learn a language are twice as difficult if you did not do something in childhood to teach it. So we have to improve the programs in primary education!
