My opinion about english in the University

In my experience, the english I found very difficult my whole life. But I always tried my best of me to better and better in my english.

I think the curriculum in the university is not really good, because it not understand the past reality in the school of the students.  Also I think learn english es really difficult when your base is not good and the age it doesn´t go with yout. For example the nivel one and two in this university is very easy and basic, and the nivels three and four take a very big leap about requirements and, the previuos levels not prepare you for that.

For example in my english class nivel two we were playing a game during four classes, where nobody learned something. So in the next semestre When I was english three I had to talk ten minutes, and for that reason I think the english doesn´t have a continuity.

A one thing the I really like is the blogs, because you can practice your english without pressions.And also I like the interactions that I have in classes, because thi is really important and help you to practice you english pronunciation and your fluency when talking with other people.

The technology is totally necessary to learn english, because through internet you can watch movies and listen songs in english.

What would improve in the English of the university would be to have much more practice and strengthen and deepen the vocabulary, because for example in my case I feel that is what I'm missing.

    I think that the use of technology should continue to be exploited and helped from there to improve the level of the first two levels in the university.

    What you say is so true. The english program in some schools is very poor and doesn't give you the tools enough to learn correctly this language.

    I did not realize it but you are absolutely right that there are big differences in English that they teach in schools and that therefore the English of the university can be difficult for some

My future?

When I was a little girl always though about my future, but without worrying too much. The first job I dreamed of was working in a nursery, because I love to teach and especially I love children(forgetting  that I was a girl in those times  haha). My second dream job was to becone a designer, I loved to create new fashion style. When I got to adolescence I realized that what I wanted for my future should include connecting with other people and try to make a small change in the world( Even though it sounds very dreamy) The careers that included the things that I like were journalism and publicity. Finally I decided for journalis because is more complete in knowledge and identify me more. My experience at university at now is very nice and I have met many people with my same ideals and that is amazing. I still don´t know what I want to do in a few more years, the only thing the I know is Im in the right place with the right people.

A little about me

My  birth is not really interesting. I was born in the hospital of the commune of Puente Alto and  from there I live in the same place. I am eighteen years old and I was always the youngest at school and at university. My mom says I'm ahead, but I do not believe her much. Living in Santiago, "the great capital", makes me feel safe about my school and work possibilities, but at the same time i would like to breath more often the clean air of south of Chile. My mom is everything to me and her passion for education it whats is what motivates me most from day to day. Mi sister is three years older than me and although we fight is my best friend for life . Finally my father is the best man and of course im your baby.
